About the Job
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing quantity takeoffs from tender and GFC drawings, verifying and preparing bills of quantities, and certifying client and subcontractor running account bills for civil, interior fit-out, and MEP packages. You will also be involved in verifying and preparing change order requests, taking off joint measurement records, and preparing reconciliation of theoretical and actual material consumption.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs from tender drawings and GFC drawings
- Verify and prepare bills of quantities and certify client and subcontractor running account bills for civil, interior fit-out, and MEP packages
- Verify and prepare change order requests for additional work based on site conditions and revised drawings
- Take off joint measurement records
- Prepare reconciliation of theoretical and actual material consumption, compared with client and subcontractor bills
- Verify CRM bills with respect to actual work executed, track budgets, and document the same with handover documents
- Prepare rate analysis for non-tender items
- Prepare monthly progress bills based on site execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of quantity surveying, measurement, and bill of quantities preparation
- Proficient in change order management, site coordination, and rate analysis
- Experienced in progress billing and budget tracking
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using construction software and MS Office applications
