R&D Associate Principal Engineer

Overview

The R&D Associate Principal Engineer designs, develops, validates and delivers innovative products, technologies and solutions aligned with business objectives and customer requirements, leading complex engineering initiatives from concept through production. This role contributes to the Process Automation Business of the Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore and reports to the R&D Team Lead.

What you'll do

• Design and develop new products, features, and technology solutions.
• Drive technical architecture, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Analyse complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Translate business and customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready solutions.
• Participate in product lifecycle activities including design, implementation, testing, release, and support.

What you'll need

• 10 to 12 plus years of experience in Research & Development, Product development.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, or modern product development practices.
• Experience with automation, cloud technologies, AI/ML, MCP Server.
• Exposure and knowledge on technology stacks for enterprise application development.
• Knowledge and relevant experience in Product Development processes.
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience in backend development using Node.js, .NET Core, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
