Overview

Ref Data Mgmt Analyst 2 is a developing professional role that applies specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data, identify policy gaps, and formulate recommendations within the Reference Data Services team.

What you'll do

• Monitor, assess, analyze and/or evaluate processes and data within your specialty area.
• Identify policy gaps and formulate policies, procedures or practices.
• Interpret data, research and interpret factual information, and make recommendations.
• Identify inconsistencies in data or results and define business issues.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and contribute to the creation and maintenance of customer accounts, security and pricing data within multiple systems across multiple teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and client service levels.
• Act as backup for the manager.
• Provide direction and guidance to the team, evaluate performance, make recommendations and identify training requirements.
• Manage and deliver project initiatives successfully and supervise junior staff to ensure delivery of their project tasks.
• Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• At least 6-8 years in asset servicing, corporate action, capital markets, equity, stocks, securities and derivatives.
• Background in client custody, services, fund accounting, and reconciliation is preferred.
• Working experience of corporate actions announcement and scrubbing within a global financial services organization.
• Good awareness of capital markets, team handling, and managing client escalations independently.

• Flexible to work in all shifts between 4AM and 2AM IST.
