Regional Payroll Specialist

Overview

Own and coordinate payroll operations across multiple countries, entities and employment arrangements. Ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance while working with HR, Finance, vendors and EOR partners.

What you'll do

• Manage monthly payroll cycles across multiple countries and entities.
• Prepare and validate salaries, hires, terminations, bonuses, deductions and other payroll inputs.
• Review payroll calculations and reports for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors, EOR partners and internal stakeholders.
• Manage taxes, social contributions, pensions and other statutory requirements.
• Resolve employee payroll queries and discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll outputs with HR and Finance records and maintain audit trails.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience.
• Knowledge of end-to-end payroll operations and statutory requirements.
• Experience with external payroll providers or EOR partners.
• Strong attention to detail when handling sensitive compensation data.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to manage multiple payroll calendars, deadlines and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting payroll across Asia, Europe, the UK or US.
• Experience in a fast-growing technology company or international startup.
• Experience implementing or migrating payroll or HRIS systems.
• Familiarity with multi-entity payroll, EOR arrangements and distributed teams.
• Experience supporting payroll audits, statutory reporting or payroll accounting.
