Regulatory Reporting Product Manager

Overview

Regulatory Reporting Product Manager on the Cappitech Product Regulation Team, owning the product lifecycle from market analysis and concept through requirement definition and launch.

What you'll do

• Understand regulatory requirements and translate them into product features and system requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams and provide training and documentation to internal Operational teams and external Customers.
• Gather and analyze market requirements and offering.
• Define product requirements from high-level concept to detailed source mapping and functionality requirements.
• Work with the Development and QA team to design and develop the solution to meet business requirements.
• Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of pre-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you'll need

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand regulatory documentation.
• 6-8 years of experience in financial markets business or fintech.
• Proactiveness in identifying risks, mitigating risks and managing project timelines.
• Previous hands-on experience in derivatives regulatory reporting (JFSA, HKMA, EMIR Refit, ASIC, MAS, CFTC, SEC or Canada).
• A solid understanding of derivatives products such as swaps, options and forwards.
• Building requirement specifications and well versed with creating user stories in JIRA.
• Problem solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Prior experience working with development teams.
• Ability to reverse engineer.
• Stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex or unfamiliar concepts in simple terms.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• SQL skills.
• Able to work independently on multiple projects with minimal direction or supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

• 4+ years in product management.
