Responsible AI Engineer

Overview

Assess AI systems against predefined responsible, ethical and sustainable thresholds and benchmarks, and design and implement mitigation strategies so they meet those standards. Acts as a subject-matter expert who manages a team and contributes to key decisions.

What you'll do

• Assess AI systems for adherence to predefined thresholds and benchmarks related to responsible, ethical and sustainable practices.
• Design and implement technology mitigation strategies for systems to ensure ethical and responsible standards are achieved.
• Collaborate with and manage the team to perform, taking responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead initiatives to integrate responsible AI principles into project workflows and deliverables.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to promote best practices in ethical AI development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to identify and mitigate risks associated with AI system deployment.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Responsible AI.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Responsible AI.
• Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and guidelines.
• Experience in designing and implementing mitigation strategies for AI systems.
• Ability to assess AI models against compliance benchmarks and sustainability standards.
• Familiarity with AI system auditing and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills related to AI ethics and governance.
