Revenue Analyst

Overview

Support revenue accounting activities, including analysis of customer contracts and their implications for company revenues, process automation, accounting issue summaries, and audit coordination.

What you'll do

• Engage in objective analysis of ongoing and prospective contractual documentation and contracts with customers and their implication for the Company’s revenues.
• Assist in facilitating the automation of current processes.
• Maintain and update summary listings of accounting issues.
• Work with management to summarize key issues and exposure items and clearly articulate summaries and positions taken.
• Work closely with external auditors to coordinate audits and reviews.

What you'll need

• 2 - 4 years of experience in US GAAP Revenue Accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 concepts.
• Hands-on experience working on revenue assurance, preferably for an IT / ITES company, in a US public company SOX environment.
• CA / CPA with experience working with corporate accounting teams of preferably US tech companies.
• Knowledge of working in a SOX environment.
• Expertise in reading legal documents, interpreting them, and summarizing them in a comprehensive way.
• Problem-solving attitude and experience handling special projects in previous jobs.
• Motivation and high levels of initiative to identify problems with a proactive lens.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication.

Nice to have

• Revenue assurance experience for an IT / ITES company.
• Experience working with corporate accounting teams of US tech companies.
• Big-4 experience or experience working with Big-4 as auditors.
