Sales Manager

About the Job

We’re hiring a Sales Manager / BDM for our on-site team in Surat, Gujarat. This full-time role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with 5+ years of experience in IT services or software sales. You’ll own the entire growth engine—generating qualified leads, converting inbound inquiries, building a healthy pipeline, and leading the sales team to consistently hit monthly targets through channels like Upwork, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and outbound outreach.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads via Upwork bidding, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and cold outreach.
• Handle and convert inbound leads coming from the company website inquiries.
• Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline to support revenue growth.
• Achieve monthly revenue and sales targets; drive consistent deal closures and client acquisition.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team; track performance metrics and improve conversion ratios.
• Maintain accurate CRM records (including lead lifecycle tracking) and ensure reporting discipline.
• Prepare regular sales and pipeline reports to support forecasting and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in IT services/software sales.
• Hands-on expertise in Upwork bidding and LinkedIn lead generation.
• Proven ability to manage both inbound and outbound sales motions.
• Working knowledge of CRM tools—Zoho CRM preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for client-facing deal cycles.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving (and exceeding) sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
