SAP - ABAP - Associate

Overview

SAP ABAP Associate role at PwC Acceleration Center India supporting Advisory client work on SAP Core ERP solutions across finance, customer, and supply chain processes.

What you'll do

• Analyze client requirements and translate them into SAP ABAP development tasks across finance, customer, and supply chain processes.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements within SAP Core ERP environments.
• Configure and support SAP technical components, including SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and NetWeaver-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, interpret technical feedback, and resolve defects across development and deployment cycles.
• Support SAP implementation and modernization efforts by contributing to design discussions, testing activities, and deployment readiness.
• Review work assigned to junior team members and provide guidance on coding approaches, technical standards, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business context, anticipate needs, and adapt deliverables as priorities shift.
• Use analytical thinking and process improvement skills to streamline SAP solutions and support operational efficiency.
• Apply data-driven insights to inform technical recommendations and improve system performance across SAP landscapes.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• At least one of the following: one or more SAP certifications aligned to SAP Technology and platform solutions, including SAP S/4HANA System Administration, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, SAP Security, or related technical architecture credentials.
• Demonstrating hands-on ABAP development across SAP Core ERP environments.
• Applying SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and SAP NetWeaver technical skills.
• Interpreting business requirements into scalable SAP technical solutions.
• Navigating client conversations with clear, concise technical communication.
• Mentoring junior team members while managing assigned workstreams.
