SAP Security Lead - S/4 Hana, BTP, Fiori

Overview

Lead SAP security strategy, architecture, governance, and standards globally across S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP BTP platforms. Advise senior leadership, lead a global SAP security team, and support enterprise-wide transformations, integrations, risk management, and compliance.

What you'll do

• Define and drive the SAP security strategy and roadmap across S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP BTP platforms.
• Act as the central authority for SAP security architecture, governance, and standards globally.
• Provide strategic advisory to senior leadership on risk posture, compliance, and security optimization.
• Lead and mentor a global SAP security team, ensuring capability development and best practices adoption.
• Design and oversee enterprise-wide SAP security architecture, including role-based access control and identity integration.
• Lead the security design for S/4HANA transformations, Fiori deployments, and cloud-native BTP solutions.
• Establish secure-by-design principles for SAP projects and system integrations.
• Drive standardization and simplification of role design and authorization frameworks.
• Own SAP-related SoD governance, access controls, and regulatory compliance, including SOX, ITGC, and audit frameworks.
• Lead risk assessments, control design, and remediation strategies across the SAP ecosystem.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of SAP Security experience, including leadership or lead architect responsibilities.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Security & Authorization concepts.
• Knowledge of Fiori Security, including catalogs, groups, OData services, and UI roles.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP Security, including IAS, IPS, role collections, and identity federation.
• Knowledge of SoD frameworks, ITGC controls, and compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP security architecture and integration with enterprise IAM solutions.
• Proven ability to lead global teams and complex transformation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• SAP Security, GRC, or Cybersecurity certifications, such as SAP GRC, CISM, or CISSP.
• Experience with Pathlock, SAP GRC Access Control, or other IGA tools.
• Exposure to cloud security architectures and Zero Trust models.
• Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs or migrations.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation within SAP environments.
