SAS SQL - BI Analyst

Overview

Join Citi's Analytics and Information Management (AIM) team in the North America and APAC Consumer bank information management team, delivering data-driven business insights, reporting, modelling and GenAI support for faster strategic decisions.

What you'll do

• Develop client-centric insightful reporting solutions to accelerate strategic decisioning for the business.
• Own and deliver multiple complex analytical projects, understanding business context and business-critical KPIs and their behavior and impact.
• Identify trends and patterns in data to drive reporting solutions and insights.
• Build business-critical dashboards to review portfolio health with business leaders.
• Assess campaign impacts by understanding campaign setup and measuring actual performance in terms of P&L, and build solutions to optimize marketing spend.
• Periodically review existing processes and identify ways to streamline them through process efficacy and automation.
• Manage stakeholders across various functions and regions and handle partner communications independently.
• Articulate and present your work clearly to leadership.
• Coach and mentor juniors.

What you'll need

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Statistics from premier institutes, with 2+ years of experience in delivering analytical solutions.
• Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to management in a structured and simpler form.
• Demonstrated analytical approach to open-ended problems and building solutions.
• Must have strong hands-on experience in SAS and SQL.
• Experience working with large and multiple datasets, data warehouses, and ability to pull data using relevant programs and coding.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Multiple stakeholder management.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to guide and mentor juniors.

Nice to have

• Experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience in Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Experience in the banking domain.
