SDET - QA Automation(Remote)

Overview

Remote SDET (Software Engineer in Test) Engineer to lead validation and testing efforts for front-end and back-end components, improving the testing feedback loop.

What you'll do

• Architect, implement, and continuously deliver testing tools and test infrastructure for testing at scale.
• Collaborate with an agile team to support automated testing for front-end and back-end components.
• Use Node/Webdriver.io/TypeScript and/or pytest/Python to build testing solutions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Work with DevOps automation to run tests using technologies including Selenium Grid and Docker.
• Test against varied end-user endpoints including MS SQL Server/MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB, MS Dynamics CRM/Salesforce/NetSuite, and APIs (REST/SOAP/FTP/HTTP/XML).

What you'll need

• 4+ years as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with modern testing tools such as Node.js, WebdriverIO, Jasmine/Mocha, Selenium, or PyTest.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python (or similar) to write clean, maintainable test code.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum as an embedded Quality Engineer influencing design and testability.
• Hands-on experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON/XML payloads, and validating integrations with databases and CRM/ERP systems.
• Comfort with CI/CD and tooling such as Postman, Jenkins, Docker, npm/yarn, JMeter, JIRA, and GitHub.
