SDET - QA Automation(Remote)

Overview

SDET (Software Engineer in Test) role focused on building and delivering automated testing tools and infrastructure for large-scale validation across front-end and back-end components.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with an agile team to architect and implement testing tools and infrastructure.
• Continuously deliver testing capabilities to run tests at scale for front-end and back-end.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Use automation stacks including Node with Webdriver.io and TypeScript, or pytest with Python.
• Validate integrations across diverse endpoints including SQL/NoSQL databases, CRMs/ERPs, and REST/SOAP/FTP/HTTP/XML.
• Work with DevOps to connect testing workflows with CI/CD and execution infrastructure.

What you'll need

• 4+ years as a Software Engineer in Test designing and evolving scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with modern testing frameworks/tools such as Node.js, Angular, WebdriverIO, Jasmine/Mocha, Selenium, or PyTest.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python (or similar) to write maintainable test code.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum as an embedded Quality Engineer influencing design and improving testability.
• Hands-on API testing experience (REST/SOAP), including JSON/XML payload validation.
• Comfort with CI/CD and testing tools such as Postman, Jenkins, Docker, npm/yarn, JMeter, JIRA, and GitHub.
