Overview

Software Development Engineer in Test for Franklin Templeton’s Technology Quality Assurance team, delivering functional, automation, performance, and data testing in an Agile model.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute functional and automation tests.
• Support web, mobile, data, and API testing initiatives.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks.
• Create test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Perform performance test scripting and execution.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and validate software quality.
• Manage and track defects to resolution with documentation and root-cause support.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of software testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong automation testing experience.
• Knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, WebdriverIO, or Codecept.js.
• Experience with Python or JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Experience in API, data, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
