Software Engineer

Overview

Senior SDET role focused on designing and building a scalable test automation framework for Eaton’s Video Management System (VMS) platform.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain a reusable test automation framework.
• Define automation architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests across UI and APIs.
• Build automated tests for web apps, desktop apps, REST APIs, and device-level workflows.
• Automate VMS testing areas including camera onboarding, streaming, playback, recording, events, and user/role management.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with reporting and quality dashboards.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• BE/B.Tech in CSE or IT.
• Strong proficiency in C# / Python (Python preferred).
• Experience with Appium, Winapp driver, and FLAUI.
• Experience with Playwright or Selenium.
• Testing frameworks: NUnit / xUnit / MSTest.
• Automation framework approach including Page Object Model and data-driven testing.
