Security Analyst

Overview

Security Analyst role in Bloomreach’s Global Information Security & Technology (GIST) team, supporting the 24/7 Security Operations Team to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats and incidents.

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyze security, system, application, cloud, and infrastructure logs to identify suspicious activity and potential incidents.
• Use security tools and threat intelligence to detect anomalous or malicious activity.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and services for security events, misconfigurations, and indicators of compromise.
• Investigate security alerts and incidents with triage, analysis, documentation, escalation, and follow-up.
• Develop and improve security detection use cases and alerts in SIEM and related monitoring platforms.
• Design automation workflows using SOAR or similar security orchestration technologies.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a 24×7 SOC, Cyber Fusion Center, or equivalent security operations function.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms for security monitoring, investigation, correlation, and detection engineering.
• Practical working experience with AWS or GCP, including cloud identity, logging, networking, compute, storage, and security controls.
• Basic scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent for security operations, investigation, or automation.
• Demonstrated experience investigating and coordinating security incidents across technical and non-technical teams, potentially as Incident Commander/Coordinator.
• Working understanding of the cybersecurity incident lifecycle, including identification through post-incident activities.

• Location: India (Bengaluru office mentioned), with option to work from home.
• Shift: 24×7 monthly rotating shift schedule including weekends; position follows a five-day work week with rotation-determined timings and weekly days off.
