Security Architect

Overview

Define the cloud security framework and architecture to meet business requirements and performance goals, and transition cloud security controls to security-managed operations.

What you'll do

• Define the cloud security framework and architecture aligned with business objectives and performance targets.
• Document the implementation of cloud security controls.
• Transition cloud security controls to cloud security-managed operations.
• Lead the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures within cloud environments.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units so security requirements are understood and implemented.
• Mentor junior team members on cloud security principles and practices.
• Act as SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience with Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools.
• Proficiency in Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing security controls in cloud environments.
• Ability to analyze and mitigate risks associated with cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to cloud security.
