Security Architect

Overview

Define, implement and manage the cloud security framework and architecture using Okta, aligned with business requirements and performance objectives, and support transition to managed cloud security operations.

What you'll do

• Define, implement, and manage the cloud security framework and architecture using Okta.
• Configure SSO for SaaS and on-premise applications through Okta.
• Integrate Okta with directories such as Active Directory and LDAP.
• Work with business teams, external clients, and providers to establish and troubleshoot SAML Federations.
• Implement access management policies, federated identity, and multi-factor authentication.
• Develop and manage Okta hooks and sign-in widget configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Okta deployments and configurations.
• Collaborate with application teams to support REST API and JSON integrations.
• Independently drive technical tasks and provide support during implementation phases.
• Deliver technical documentation and transition processes to cloud-managed security operations.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of experience is required.
• 15 years full time education.
• Okta Identity Management (must-have skill).
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management standards including SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, RADIUS, and Kerberos.
• Hands-on experience with Okta configuration and management.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON for application integration.
• Experience with Okta directory integrations (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
• Proficiency in access management and federated identity solutions.
• Solid troubleshooting skills in Okta implementations.
• Development experience with J2EE, Java, and JavaScript.
• Ability to independently manage technical tasks and projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in implementation of Okta / Auth0.
• Candidate should have executed at least one project using Okta.
• 16 years of full-time education is required.

Nice to have

• Preferred development background in Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platform services.
• Knowledge of OpenID Connect, SAML, SOAP, WS-Security, OAuth protocols.
• Okta certification (Professional, Admin, or Developer).
