Overview
Security-Compliance Program Manager in Zscaler's Global Security Compliance department, reporting to the Director, Global Security-Compliance Practice. The role advises customers, field teams and partners on compliance frameworks and how Zscaler capabilities meet them, working directly with customers in calls, webinars, conferences, and deals.
What you'll do
- Represent the practice directly with customers through calls, webinars, and conferences, clearly communicating how compliance helps accelerate deals.
- Map compliance frameworks to Zscaler capabilities control by control, using published methodology and clear labels for what we meet, partially meet, support, or leave to the customer.
- Build reusable playbooks and assets from deal-based learnings so the broader field can respond faster and more consistently.
- Educate SEs and AEs to handle routine compliance conversations themselves, keeping data security at the center of every discussion.
- Act as a security-compliance first responder, completing vendor security questionnaires and customer assessments accurately and without overclaiming, and assembling the evidence and documentation needed to support responses.
What you'll need
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain.
- Zscaler product understanding or the ability to build it fast.
- Global compliance fluency, including working knowledge of major frameworks (such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, or regional equivalents) and the ability to pick up new ones quickly.
- Comprehensive understanding of security, data security, and compliance, including how security architecture works, how data is protected in motion and at rest, and how compliance frameworks formalize both.
- The ability to translate perspectives: technology to compliance, compliance to business, and business to sales.
- Field credibility with experience working with or in sales or customer-facing teams, and a bias to execute to deliver good answers quickly instead of waiting for perfection.
Nice to have
- Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency.
- Compliance or security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 LA, CCP, CCA, or similar).
- Experience in federal, SLED, healthcare, or other regulated industries, with eligibility for a US security clearance being a plus.
- Experience presenting at industry events or building enablement content.
