Security Testing Engineer

Overview

The Security Testing Engineer performs in-depth security testing across applications, networks, cloud environments, and infrastructure, using ethical hacking and automated scanning to find and report vulnerabilities.

What you'll do

• Perform security assessments and penetration tests using established tools and procedures.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, summarize findings, and recommend remediation.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to embed security testing into the software development cycle.
• Develop and maintain security testing tools and methodologies by implementing updates and documenting changes.
• Analyze security incidents by reviewing test results and validating indicators of compromise.
• Monitor emerging threats and update testing procedures and protocols accordingly.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Have 2+ years of experience in Cloud Security, App Security, IT Audit, or Risk Management.
• Use penetration testing and vulnerability assessment skills.
• Support security incident response and incident report writing.
• Work with DevSecOps and application security testing practices.
• Have knowledge of threat modeling and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing).
