Senior Engineer - CyberSecurity

Overview

Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for Eaton, working with a global security team to apply “Security by Design” across Eaton products and solutions.

What you'll do

• Work with DevSecOps project teams to integrate, deploy, and monitor cybersecurity in Eaton products.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across multiple technologies and device types.
• Drive threat modeling and risk assessment during early design and development to identify cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide hands-on guidance to product teams implementing cybersecurity features aligned with standards.
• Run continuous threat modeling, risk assessment, and automated tool activities in CI/CD pipelines using Agile scrum teams.
• Monitor evolving threat landscapes and cybersecurity standards to drive continuous improvement in requirements and processes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience across multiple phases of the Secure Product Development Lifecycle, including penetration testing and threat modeling.
• Coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
• Knowledge of attacks and mitigation for cloud apps, network protocols and secure network design, OS internals/hardening, and web/mobile security.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools including Nessus, Black Duck, BurpSuite, Coverity, Kali Linux, and Threat Modeler (and others listed).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and tool usage for SAST, SCA, and other CI/CD tools.
