Platform Engineer – Enterprise Golden Paths & Automated Governance

Overview

Platform Engineer role focused on building enterprise “Golden Paths” that automate secure, compliant software delivery across product teams.

What you'll do

• Design and build shared GitHub Actions (composite actions and reusable workflows) and delivery templates.
• Develop and maintain secure, modular Terraform modules and reusable IaC assets.
• Embed DevSecOps controls (SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM generation, and supply chain protections) into default workflows.
• Create secure, scalable CI/CD patterns aligned to enterprise standards (including least privilege).
• Build internal automation services and developer tooling in Python or Golang.
• Contribute to multi-environment reference architectures spanning cloud, serverless, containers, and hybrid setups.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience authoring and maintaining centralized reusable GitHub Actions across an enterprise.
• Knowledge of Semantic Versioning for GitHub Actions and pipeline security using OIDC for AWS authentication.
• Strong experience with AWS services for compute, networking, security, and serverless architectures.
• Advanced expertise in Terraform and reusable infrastructure-as-code design.
• Strong scripting/software engineering capability in Python or Golang.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles including SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, and software supply chain security.

Details

• Location: Chennai, Tamil Nādu, India.
• In-person working: on average, minimum of three days per week from the office (flexible beyond that).
