Senior Accountant - General Ledger

Overview

Senior Accountant on the General Ledger team, owning a meaningful portion of the month-end close, supporting financial reporting across a multi-entity structure, and serving as a key resource during the annual audit. Reports directly to the GL Manager.

What you'll do

• Own month-end close tasks end-to-end: prepare and post journal entries, maintain GL schedules, and reconcile key accounts.
• Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Contribute to monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and responding to questions from business partners.
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules, fielding auditor inquiries, and ensuring documentation is audit-ready.
• Assist with M&A integration reporting and technical accounting for acquisition transactions.
• Help maintain up-to-date accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
• Drive process improvement by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing better tools and controls.
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests and special projects as they arise.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant role.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across a multi-entity close cycle and M&A activity.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.

• CPA or CPA eligible.

Details

• Location: Remote, anywhere in the US (100% remote).
• Anticipated pay range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually (USD).
• Total compensation includes US employee benefits and annual bonus eligibility.
