Overview
Senior AI and Machine Learning Engineer to research, design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions, including monitoring and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Conduct research and stay current on AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and algorithms.
- Explore and experiment with cutting-edge techniques to solve complex problems and improve models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design AI/ML solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models (data preprocessing, feature engineering, tuning, training).
- Deploy ML models into production and integrate them with existing software systems.
- Monitor deployed model performance, analyze metrics, and fine-tune models for improved accuracy.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level team members.
What you'll need
- 9-10 years of experience (typically 9 -10 years).
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms including linear regression, decision trees, SVMs, random forests, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java and strong programming skills.
- Experience developing production-level code and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and evaluation using appropriate metrics.
- Strong mathematics and statistics foundation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a closely related quantitative discipline.

- Work mode: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
