Senior AI Security Engineer

Overview

Senior AI Security Engineer responsible for applying AI to application security, offensive validation, and defensive tooling across software, hardware, and firmware environments.

What you'll do

• Deliver security assessments of software, code, and firmware against AI-driven attacks.
• Implement application security fixes based on AI security findings.
• Adapt software security techniques for hardware and embedded firmware.
• Build and test AI-enabled security tooling and workflows.
• Partner with engineering, hardware, and leadership on AI-related security risk.
• Drive security strategy for adopting AI within security operations.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in application security, vulnerability management, threat modeling, offensive security, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience applying AI or LLM tools to security workflows using APIs, agents, or automation.
• Experience assessing software and hardware or firmware security.
• Experience creating secure-code solutions with engineers using GoLang.
• Experience developing AI and agentic solutions using GitHub and AWS.
• Experience integrating, securing, or red-teaming AI-enabled systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with prompt injection, jailbreaks, or model and agent abuse.
• Experience securing agentic AI, RAG systems, or LLM-integrated platforms.
• Experience driving organization-wide security strategy or presenting to senior stakeholders.
• OSCP, GIAC, CISSP, or AWS certifications.

Details

• Remote position for candidates residing in the United States, with specified metro-area exclusions.
• Annual base salary: $157,675–$238,500 USD.
