Staff Product Security Architect

Overview

Staff Product Security Architect responsible for driving hands-on security architecture, proactive risk reduction, and reusable security guidance across product engineering and developer workflows.

What you'll do

• Partner with engineering and product leadership to anticipate security problems.
• Lead security architecture and design for strategic initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize systemic security risks.
• Build guardrails, standards, design patterns, and threat models for developer and AI coding workflows.
• Build proofs of concept and prototypes to support engineering teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat model systems.
• Mentor security engineers and represent security architecture to engineering audiences.

What you'll need

• Deep experience in application security architecture.
• Experience securing distributed systems, including service-to-service authentication and secrets handling.
• Working knowledge of software supply chain security.
• Track record of proactive architecture work that prevents classes of security problems.
• Ability to influence engineering leadership and define adopted security standards.
• Ability to read unfamiliar code, build prototypes, and contribute changes.
• Clear written communication and ability to make security arguments to engineering audiences.
