Senior Manager, Machine Learning Engineering - Communication & Connectivity

Overview

Lead Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering teams focused on AI, machine learning, and data applications for communication and connectivity products.

What you'll do

• Set AI investment priorities and multi-year technical roadmaps.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to bring ML initiatives into production.
• Ensure efficient, high-quality data pipelines for business and AI needs.
• Define success metrics linking ML work to business outcomes.
• Lead and mentor managers and engineers across ML, data, and software engineering.
• Align senior stakeholders and execute iterative technical milestones.
• Coach team members in careers, technical expertise, and collaboration.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of overall engineering experience.
• 5+ years managing a team in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience building and architecting enterprise-scale full-stack products and systems.
• Experience applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to products and development cycles.
• Hands-on experience setting technical direction and strategy.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Remote eligible in the United States.
• Occasional Airbnb office work or offsite attendance may be required.
• Annual pay range: USD 248,000–310,000.
