Senior Analyst - Finance & Accounting

Overview

Support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes within the Fiduciary Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of client and carrier transactions, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting month-end reconciliation activities.

What you'll do

• Process and monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions in line with established procedures.
• Review and allocate incoming cash receipts accurately and on time.
• Support the clearing of unallocated cash and identify items requiring follow-up.
• Prepare and perform account reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of open items.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payment and receipt-related queries.
• Ensure adherence to fiduciary, compliance, and control requirements.
• Assist with month-end and periodic reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and review purposes.
• Escalate exceptions, discrepancies, and unresolved issues in a timely manner.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Take end to end responsibility of delivery.
• Take on additional activities within the existing bandwidth.
• Meet the TAT and accuracy consistently.

What you'll need

• Any relevant Accounting degree.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
• Prior experience in working in similar roles.

Nice to have

• Prior working experience in Insurance Sector.

Details

• Location: Mumbai, India (Hiranandani office).
• Hybrid work: colleagues expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.
• Extended hours during month end might be required.
