Senior Consultant

Overview

Senior Technical Consultant in Appian’s Customer Success team, engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform.

What you'll do

• Lead projects across the full software project life-cycle to define, design, develop, and implement custom Appian-based solutions.
• Work in an agile environment to understand client business processes and technical needs.
• Launch new relational data models in production.
• Develop APIs to integrate with multiple systems.
• Lead and mentor consultants through fast-paced software implementations.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and business users and drive adoption for self-sufficiency.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Appian technical experience.
• Passion for mentoring/developing others and experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementation.
• Experience gathering functional and technical system requirements and defining business processes with clients.
• Basic understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases/data modeling, and SQL skills.
• Integrations experience using APIs such as REST and SOAP, JDBC connections, and web services.
• Ability and willingness to travel (20%).

• Based at the Chennai Office; expected in the office 5 days a week.
