Overview
Senior Consultant for SAP FICO, translating business needs into robust SAP FI/CO solutions at global scale.
What you'll do
- Triage, analyze, and resolve SAP FI/CO issues reported by business users.
- Gather requirements, design, and configure FI/CO enhancements, managing testing and deployment.
- Lead and optimize procure-to-pay to FI and FI to S/OTC (SOTC) integrations, ensuring reliable end-to-end financial data flows.
- Partner with finance, procurement, and operational teams to capture requirements and provide progress updates and guidance.
- Create functional specifications, test plans, and user documentation and support knowledge transfer.
- Safeguard data integrity across FI/CO processes, supporting period-end close, reconciliations, and audit/controls readiness.
What you'll need
- 9–11 years of experience and functional knowledge in the FI/CO domain.
- Functional knowledge in core FI&CO modules and technical knowledge in FI and CO.
- Work experience with FI/CO, p2p to FI and FI to SOTC integrations, interfaces, Idocs, and Z developments.
- Domain understanding of accounting and controlling processes (e.g., period-end close, IFRS considerations, product costing, profitability analysis) in a global environment.
- Comfort working in regulated or life sciences settings with attention to controls, auditability, and data quality.
Nice to have
- Experience as a Functional Consultant resolving SAP issues and delivering change/enhancements for business users.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or Central Finance migration or greenfield initiatives.
- Comfort with Agile ways of working, including backlog management, user stories, and iterative delivery.
- Proficiency with SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM and testing tools with structured documentation practices.
