Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Overview

Secure web, mobile, API, and backend applications across a cloud-native streaming ecosystem. Partner with engineering and product teams to embed secure-by-design practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Drive application security from design and development through production.
• Conduct security assessments across web, mobile, APIs, backend services, and application components.
• Perform SAST, DAST, SCA, API security testing, and penetration testing.
• Conduct threat modeling and security reviews for features, products, and architecture changes.
• Integrate security tools and automated checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop security automation and tooling using Python, Shell, or similar languages.
• Triage, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities with development teams.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, Security Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in application, product, or software security engineering.
• Understanding of web, mobile, API, and backend application security.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and secure SDLC practices.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Shell, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience securing consumer-facing web, mobile, API, or large-scale digital products.
• Experience with fast-paced product engineering teams or media/OTT platforms.
• A Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CSSLP.
