Overview
Senior Data Analyst (Contract) in HCJ DP, responsible for data integrity, scalable data solutions, and business analysis across the customer journey growth area.
What you'll do
- Deliver data-driven business problem solving through insights and business storytelling.
- Write, interpret, and optimize complex SQL queries for ad hoc analysis and decision support.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical data models.
- Develop governed, reusable business-ready data products, datasets, dashboards, and insights.
- Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and relationships among drivers.
- Build and maintain interactive Tableau reports and dashboards.
What you'll need
- 3–8 years of relevant applied experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, data products, or quantitative analysis.
- Experience working with large/complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Hands-on SQL programming and database concepts.
- Self-service BI/visualization tool experience, preferably Tableau, including dashboard publishing and performance optimization.
- Experience with Data Products, including governance, modeling, quality checks, metadata, and lifecycle management.
- ETL/ELT and data engineering concepts (transformation, orchestration, performance optimization, reusable assets).
- Mandatory PySpark experience (Python/Java exposure preferred).
