Overview
Join Arctic Wolf's Aurora Exposure Management team as a Content & Integrations Sr Developer, combining Security Research, Detection Engineering, and Automation Development to improve vulnerability and exposure detection capabilities across the platform.
What you'll do
- Research and develop vulnerability, misconfiguration, and exposure detection content.
- Design, write, and maintain detection logic using NASL, NOTUS, OVAL, and custom detection frameworks.
- Build integrations with third-party security products and public APIs.
- Develop automation and enrichment workflows using Python or similar languages.
- Enhance cloud security posture and configuration assessment capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to improve detection coverage and efficacy.
- Participate in operational support and on-call rotations.
- Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes, and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AWN business information.
What you'll need
- 5–8 years of experience in Security Research, Detection Engineering, or Vulnerability Management.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Benchmarks, CVEs, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Experience developing vulnerability detection content using NASL, NOTUS, OVAL, or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, Rust, or similar backend languages.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (HTTP, SSH, SMB, SNMP, TLS/SSL) and operating system internals.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.).
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development practices and mastery of overwriting and debugging code.
- Background checks are required for this position.
Nice to have
- Experience with Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, OpenVAS.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Prisma Cloud, Azure Security Center, or similar solutions.
- Experience with security tools including Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and configuration management tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.

- Location: Bengaluru, India.
- Only Bangalore-based candidates are considered.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
