Overview

Senior Developer - IT to design and build IT applications in Chennai, India, using Microsoft .NET technologies and modern web/microservices practices.

What you'll do

• Design and build new applications using .NET.
• Develop web applications using Angular 17+ and ASP.NET (MVC).
• Enhance and support existing applications using MVC, C# .NET, and Web Services/Web API.
• Develop on-premises and cloud hosting applications using Azure.
• Build microservices using containers and DevOps practices.
• Design transactional database structures, including SQL stored procedures and functions.
• Contribute to application design and architecture and document designs.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years designing and developing web applications using ASP.NET and MVC.
• Hands-on experience with microservices-based application development.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) using a unit-testing framework.
• Hands-on experience building responsive UI using Angular 17+, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular JS.
• Minimum 4 years experience with Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on ORM experience such as Entity Framework or N-Hibernate.
• At least 3 years experience with JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, and XML.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of messaging frameworks like RabbitMQ, MSMQ, and ActiveMQ.
• Technical expertise in .NET design patterns and strong OOP understanding.
• Experience with Web APIs/REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and team environment experience.
