Senior DevOps Engg (9+ Years exp in Azure Devops+ AKS Configuration+ Team Management)

Overview

Hands-on senior DevOps and cloud operations leader responsible for Azure system availability, AKS and CI/CD delivery, production support, and leading a team of engineers while managing client relationships.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage AKS, containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, perform RCA, and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health to ensure service availability.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.
• Lead a team of engineers and provide technical mentoring, coaching, and training.
• Plan, assign, and govern project execution to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly status reports, delivery updates, and customer communications.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and delivery metrics.
• Act as the technical escalation point for critical issues and customer concerns.
• Provide technical leadership on networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and Subnetting.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, NSG, and network security issues.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet organizational security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, business teams, architects, developers, and support teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Support business growth by identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to solution discussions.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, reporting standards, and best practices.

What you'll need

• 10-12+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, Production Support, and Solution Delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of 3-5 engineers, including planning, task allocation, project execution, and technical coaching.
• Strong experience working in production support, operations support, and maintenance projects.
• Experience managing incidents, problem management, RCA, and SLA-driven support environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing secure Azure solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Container Apps (ACA), Azure Container Apps Jobs, Azure OpenAI, and Azure IoT Services.
• Experience implementing solutions within secure enterprise environments using VNets, NSGs, Firewalls, Private Endpoints, and Identity & Access controls.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience managing project budgets, delivery trackers, status reporting, and governance activities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.
• Strong commitment to documentation, operational excellence, and industry best practices.
• Mandatory skills: Azure DevOps and CI/CD; Docker and Kubernetes; .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API; ReactJS, HTML; SQL Server and PostgreSQL; Git, PowerShell, Bash; Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, Subnetting, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancers); Production Support and Incident Management; Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management; Strong Reporting, Documentation, and Communication Skills.
