Senior Engineer - Linux Audio device drivers

Overview

Senior Engineer role focused on developing and maintaining Linux/Android audio device drivers and end-to-end audio features on a multicore SOC.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, validate, and maintain/support end-to-end audio features on a multicore SOC.
• Develop and support ALSA-compliant software drivers in C and/or C++.
• Debug embedded operating system software, preferably on Linux platforms.
• Work with multiple peer teams in day-to-day execution.
• Design, implement, validate, and maintain/support audio driver software.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Have 3+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• Be strong in C and C++ programming and data structures.
• Understand computer architecture and operating systems for Linux/Android.
• Have embedded software debugging skills, preferably on Linux.

Nice to have

• Experience with ADSP, IPC, and peripheral drivers.
• Experience in Linux audio device drivers.
• Audio domain knowledge with Android or embedded Linux.
