Senior Engineer - Quality

Overview

The Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance provides quality support to production operations to ensure the integrity of components and products produced, aggressively driving quality improvement toward zero defect performance.

What you'll do

• Drive and champion quality improvement efforts on the shop floor.
• Provide expert analysis, guidance and support to Production in process improvement activities, including effective use of problem-solving tools, techniques and statistical analysis.
• Apply APQP to support external customers in New Product Introduction, Localization and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Ensure internal customer needs for Control Systems are met in a timely and functional manner.
• Optimize process capability on significant characteristics through statistical analysis techniques and train shop floor personnel in problem-solving.
• Be responsible for Product and Process audits, Internal and Customer complaint closures and monitoring, with effective counter measure implementation.
• Apply knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques to provide timely data for informed decision-making.
• Use analytical skills to implement root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Be responsible for the Change Management process and the Calibration process.

What you'll need

• Competence in ISO 50001:2011 requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an energy management system.
