Senior Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer, Social Graph

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Connections team, building across the stack to power the Roblox social graph and enable players to connect and play together.

What you'll do

• Ship features and work across the stack with an end-to-end understanding of the features, with a frontend lean.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define and build features used by tens of millions of users.
• Drive individual projects from end to end, ensuring they are well-planned, executed efficiently, run experiments, and deliver meaningful impact.
• Own critical features used by millions of users daily and develop new zero-to-one features.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems, including backend, APIs, and frontend applications.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiar with A/B testing.

Details

• Based at Roblox HQ in San Mateo, CA; no remote option.
• Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.
• Annual base salary range $196,750 to $243,290 USD; eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
