Overview
Senior Full Stack Engineer owning platform services and user-facing components across cybersecurity products, including orchestration, APIs, integrations, and web applications.
What you'll do
- Own the job orchestration platform, including message-queue scheduling, task dispatching, workflow management, and lifecycle execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain threaded and asynchronous Python services for management, appliance-facing, and customer-facing APIs.
- Enhance supporting UrlProtection services such as headless browser automation, WHOIS, and customer-facing time-of-click functionality.
- Maintain and modernize operator and customer web applications, including a large-scale TypeScript/Vue single-page application.
- Manage the data access and integration layer using MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, Consul, and URL verdict caching.
- Handle build/packaging/deployment workflows including Cython builds, Docker multi-stage images, CI/CD, and multi-VM Docker Compose deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues across queues, workflows, APIs, and deployment incidents.
What you'll need
- Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience (or alternatives: 6+ years with a Master's, 3+ years with a PhD).
- Strong Python development experience with multithreaded and asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp, FastAPI).
- Experience with distributed task processing and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Taskiq/Redis, Celery) with focus on reliability and fault recovery.
- Experience building and maintaining web APIs with Flask/FastAPI and knowledge of WSGI/uWSGI and Nginx-based deployments.
- Front-end experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and component frameworks such as Vue/React/Angular.
- Proficiency with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, and Consul.
- Comfort with Linux environments including troubleshooting, log analysis, and shell scripting on Ubuntu/Debian.
