Senior Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, architect and deliver mission-critical web applications, with Java / Spring Boot on the back end and React and TypeScript on the front end. Acts as a senior technical contributor and mentor.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end design, implementation and deployment of resilient microservices and full-stack web applications.
• Build intuitive, accessible and high-performance user interfaces using modern React, Redux and TypeScript.
• Develop high-throughput RESTful APIs, event-driven pipelines and data persistence layers with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Champion code quality through automated testing, peer code reviews, CI/CD automation and architectural discussions.
• Profile and optimize applications for speed, security, resilience and horizontal scalability.
• Act as subject matter expert, collaborate with product managers, UX designers and platform architects, and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, libraries and frameworks to keep the tech stack modern and efficient.

What you'll need

• 7-9 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production-grade full-stack web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and extensive hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, microservices architecture, RESTful API design).
• In-depth experience with React, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and modern front-end tooling and build workflows.
• Strong experience building Micro Front Ends in a React-based environment.
• Solid understanding of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database design, indexing, and ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA).
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, system design and security best practices.
• Proven track record with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Autonomy and ownership: ability to take business requirements from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail, maintainability and clean architecture (SOLID principles).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree / university degree or equivalent experience.
