Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java+React)

Overview

Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and build the Bhawana Loan Management System (LMS) end-to-end, spanning Java/Spring backend and React operations/partner UIs.

What you'll do

• Design and build the LMS end-to-end with Java/Spring services and React UIs.
• Deliver production-grade code with pull-request reviews, high test coverage, and production observability.
• Use AI coding assistants as part of daily development while staying accountable for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Own features across the stack, including Kafka event contracts, REST endpoints, and partner/operator React screens.
• Contribute to a spec-first workflow by refining specifications and breaking them into JIRA stories.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineer and Tech Lead on architecture and implementation choices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years building production systems in Java (17+) and the Spring ecosystem (Boot, REST, JPA/Data, Security, Integration).
• 3+ years hands-on React user interfaces (not prototypes or template-generated admin screens).
• Demonstrable daily fluency with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Codex).
• Clean-code habits including well-structured, testable, maintainable, documented code.
• Distributed-systems maturity including failure modes, retries/backoff, poison messages, and network partition behavior.
• 6+ years in lending technology or NBFC/bank ops-tech roles with at least one end-to-end LMS/LOS implementation.
