Overview
Senior Machine Learning Engineer for Roku Advertising’s Ad Data Activation team, driving intelligence across advertising data systems.
What you'll do
- Develop scalable ML models and data pipelines for identity, graph enrichment, audience segmentation, and campaign performance intelligence.
- Design and run experiments, measure impact, and translate results into product decisions.
- Build and productionize agentic generative-AI features including reporting and insights agents and campaign-monitoring agents.
- Improve automation, reliability, and scalability across model training, feature engineering, deployment, and monitoring.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions from data ingestion through downstream systems with software/ML engineers.
- Partner with senior stakeholders on ML and Gen-AI strategy, safety, and identifying problems for AI.
What you'll need
- 5+ years applying ML or data science to real business problems at scale.
- Master’s degree (or higher) and 4+ years in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
- Strong computer science fundamentals to design efficient algorithms and production systems.
- Experience with large-scale ML approaches (e.g., regression, classification, tree-based methods, embeddings, sequence models, or basic NLP).
- Ability to set KPIs, objective functions, and evaluation frameworks for ML-driven systems.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala/Java, C/C++, or similar.
- Experience with large-scale data platforms such as Spark and Presto/Trino (and related tooling like feature stores/data lakes).

- Hybrid working: teams generally work in the office Monday through Thursday; Fridays are generally flexible for remote work with some role/location-based exceptions.
