About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager / General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts in the lighting industry. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, nurturing B2B customer relationships, and developing innovative lighting solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to expand our market share and drive revenue growth
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive industry connections and expertise in B2B customers, lighting solutions, and sales and business development
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure our lighting industry offerings align with market demands and customer preferences
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing initiatives, including targeted campaigns, events, and digital marketing efforts
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry best practices to position our company as a leader in the lighting solutions market

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (5-10 years) in a senior sales or marketing role within the lighting industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing B2B customers and driving revenue growth
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
  • Proficient in sales and business development, including lead generation, account management, and closing deals
  • Hands-on experience in sales and marketing strategy development and implementation
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing and social media best practices
