Senior Manager- Finance Consolidation

Overview

Senior Manager to lead the consolidated funds reporting, IFRS 10 technical accounting and consolidation workings within M&G's finance function in Mumbai.

What you'll do

• Support the production of the consolidated funds reporting and associated workbooks for submission to the Group reporting team.
• Prepare IFRS 10 and technical accounting assessment memos.
• Provide the business with consistent financials through analytical reviews and disclosures.
• Prepare an asset data store submission of the assets held by the funds.
• Review roll forwards, consolidation workings and reconciliations for the NAV and IFRS reporting in the consolidated accounts.
• Provide support to junior team members and take overall ownership of reporting and deliverables.
• Maintain good relationships and coordinate with Finance, Auditors, Fund teams, third party accountants and other stakeholders across M&G.
• Review and develop processes and procedures to accommodate business changes.
• Keep up to date with latest business and accounting developments.
• Provide advice and guidance on accounting treatments.
• Suggest process and control enhancements.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and participate in ad hoc projects.
• Support audits and present to relevant stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture by identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing risks and issues, and ensuring timely resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures.
