Senior Manager, Software Development

Overview

Senior Manager, Software Development to lead multiple engineering teams and guide software architecture, delivery, and quality across product and platform domains.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a software development team.
• Guide architecture and technical design for complex distributed systems.
• Run Agile/Scrum planning, resourcing, and execution for software projects.
• Track delivery progress, manage blockers, and address risks and dependencies.
• Implement and improve engineering processes, testing, monitoring, and deployment practices.
• Conduct post-mortem reviews and apply learnings for operational excellence.
• Communicate status and technical decisions across organizational levels.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years in a team leadership or engineering management role.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices and scalable infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience across product features and platform components.
• Experience delivering in an iterative environment using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Details

• Remote-first role with collaboration across teams in the UK, India, and North America.
• Expected to work 11am - 7:30 pm IST for time-zone overlap.
