Overview

Senior Manufacturing Digital Technology Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and support manufacturing technologies across Amgen’s global manufacturing sites.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and support technology solutions used in manufacturing environments.
• Work across manufacturing automation systems, applications, data platforms, and system integrations.
• Support integrations between PLC/DCS/SCADA, MES, data historians, manufacturing applications, databases, and enterprise/cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, infrastructure, automation, interfaces, and data flows.
• Translate manufacturing processes and operational needs into practical technology solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and apply digital/analytics/AI to manufacturing use cases.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to assess emerging technologies and value.

What you'll need

• Must have experience with manufacturing automation and control systems such as PLC, DCS, SCADA or industrial control networks.
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting capability.
• Good understanding of manufacturing technology, automation systems, applications, data, and system integration.
• Ability to understand how manufacturing equipment/control systems interact with applications, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Ability to work with technical SMEs across Automation, Engineering, Infrastructure, Applications, Data, and Cybersecurity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within global, cross-functional teams.
