Overview
Senior Market Intelligence Analyst to produce procurement- and category-relevant market intelligence through secondary research, analysis, and report/dashboard creation.
What you'll do
- Create market intelligence reports covering market overview, demand-supply trends, pricing movements, supplier landscape, regional developments, risk outlook, and procurement implications.
- Conduct secondary research using industry reports, disclosures, trade publications, regulatory updates, databases, and news sources.
- Translate global and regional market developments into business-relevant insights for category, sourcing, and procurement stakeholders.
- Validate key facts, data points, and market claims with credible sources and maintain a citation trail.
- Collaborate with SMEs, category managers, procurement teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
- Edit and refine report sections for clarity, consistency, grammar, formatting, and alignment to the quarterly structure.
- Build visual summaries, charts, dashboards, and presentation-ready slides using reporting and visualization tools.
What you'll need
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, market research, data gathering, procurement intelligence, consulting, or industry report writing.
- Required prior exposure to secondary research, data analysis, unstructured data interpretation, and insight development.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Market Research, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills to convert structured and unstructured information into insights.
- Excellent business writing, editing, and communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Work knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
