Senior Network Engineer - LAN

Overview

Senior Network Engineer – LAN to support a large-scale SaaS production environment and a mission-critical datacenter network on Cisco Nexus platforms.

What you'll do

• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot IP networking components in datacenter networks.
• Handle network connectivity issue troubleshooting in collaboration with external customers.
• Implement and execute network change requests, with review and analysis of changes.
• Improve data-center network environments with Network Architects and Engineers.
• Initiate multiple projects for Network Operation improvements and apply operational standards.
• Develop and document network automation for repetitive tasks.
• Partner with internal business units to understand organizational needs and continuously improve standards.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience working with medium-to-large enterprise networks.
• Hands-on expertise in network security using Palo Alto firewalls.
• Hands-on expertise in load balancing using F5 (or equivalent).
• Experience with routing protocols including MPLS, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus switching platforms (9k/7k/5k/2k) and Cisco IOS (Nexus OS preferred).
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Python (Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM).
• Experience with datacenter networking including DC fabric, interoffice routing, and site-to-site VPNs.
