Senior Network Engineer - LAN

Overview

Senior Network Engineer – LAN to support a mission-critical, large-scale SaaS production environment and global datacenter network built on Cisco Nexus platforms.

What you'll do

• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot IP networking components in a datacenter network.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including with external customers.
• Review, analyze, and execute network change requests.
• Partner with network architects and engineers to improve data-center network environments.
• Initiate network operations improvement projects.
• Execute, document, and develop network automation for repetitive tasks.
• Interact with internal business units to understand needs and apply operational standards.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience working with medium-to-large enterprise networks.
• Hands-on expertise in network security using Palo Alto firewalls.
• Hands-on expertise in load balancing with F5 (or equivalent).
• Routing experience with MPLS, OSPF, and BGP.
• Switching experience with Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS (Nexus OS preferred).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python using Netmiko, Nornir, and NAPALM.
