Senior Product Security Engineer

Overview

Senior Product Security Engineer responsible for implementing and improving cloud security controls and standards across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and supporting secure product and infrastructure development.

What you'll do

• Implement and continuously improve cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Perform security assessments of cloud infrastructure, IAM, network architectures, Kubernetes environments, and cloud services.
• Develop, automate, and operationalize security baselines, guardrails, and security standards for cloud services and deployments.
• Assess Infrastructure as Code and embed security controls across design, development, deployment, and operations.
• Support triaging Network PenTest findings and revalidating fixes.
• Partner with Engineering to remediate security findings and integrate security into development workflows.
• Support cloud security and product security roadmap execution and incident response improvements.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of storage, compute, DNS, and network services in AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud service security including VPC/VNET, S3 (or similar), cloud network security, IAM, and logging/auditing.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks and security controls for cloud providers, OS, Kubernetes, Docker, and server software.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and encryption in cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes administration and security plus Docker concepts.
• Scripting skills in Python/shell/SQL/JavaScript.
